We are a husband and wife team who enjoy photography together. Although we are located in Central Wisconsin, we enjoy traveling anywhere to capture those special moments and to make memorable experiences. We love to go site-seeing, camping, biking, and spending time outdoors among other personal things. We are always ready with camera in hand to capture that “photograph” as you never know what nature may give you. Some of the best photographic images are unexpected.

MH PhotoDesigns, LLC specializes in lifestyle and environmental portraiture, color photos, black & white photos which includes children, families, macro, nature, pets, seniors and wildlife. Photography is a unique industry. The products that are generated can have an emotional connection unlike any other. A photograph can connect people, make someone beautiful, tell a story, capture a memory, express love, and the list goes on. We enjoy shooting on location to let the world around us be our “studio”. What is on location you ask? We want you the client to be as naturally comfortable as can be, so the sessions may be photographed in the comfort of your own home, backyard, a favorite park or other location where you can be at ease and we can create more unique non-traditional portraits. This is especially favorable for children and pets as they will feel more comfortable in a relaxed and familiar atmosphere, resulting in portraits that are expressive, revealing the subject’s true personality and capturing each individual’s unique spirit.

Marcus ~
Photography and digital art has been a rewarding hobby for over 20 years and only decided to pursue it more professionally in 2005. I continue to develop and refine my techniques because I truly enjoy the art of photographing those special moments and preserving them for a lifetime. I am very passionate about sharing experiences through images of nature, people, pets or that special day or event. Our eye for detail in each of our still images is what sets us apart.
I am very detail-oriented, paying close attention to each individual image. Just as no two people are the same, no two sessions are the same, and no two photographers' views are the same. I look forward to new challenges and will strive to capture your images as naturally as possible. The most important things are to have fun and be yourself so we may capture that most amazing photograph you're after ~ together.
When not behind the camera, I am in front of a computer screen as I love technology. I have had the pleasure of designing websites, brochures, pamphlets, business cards, but most importantly photography is my passion.
Outside of the photography world I enjoy camping, trap shooting and spending time outdoors just relaxing with a camera.

I have been enjoying the endless possibilities of photography since 2005 alongside my husband of 20 years. Although I may not be the most creative person by any means (that’s more of Marcus’ qualities) a camera can change a person’s view from the smallest details on things to the wide open scenery. Since 2010 I too have been photographing images and we do so as a team for most of our adventures.
When I am behind the camera it is relaxing, enjoyable and a wonderful experience learning new things. Every person sees something different in a photographic opportunity. I enjoy it more and more each day as we continue to learn and make our business grow, meeting new people and traveling to new and old places. I adore spending the time with Marcus as we capture those special moments. Sometimes the best images are when you least expect it, therefore our gear is always with us!
I am also here to help assist with each session. Although we want it to be natural, there may be times of encouragement for gentle posing, without that “cheesy smile”. We’re in this together to help create that lasting memory forever.
